Temple University's Main Campus Facilities Department is searching for a Steam/Pipefitter II (Multi-craft).

Hourly Rate: $37.06/hr


Reporting to the Facilities Manager, Steam/Pipefitters provide all services to maintain, repair, install, and replace any and all piping, valves, fittings, gaskets and pumps associated with the steam, chill, hydronic heat, and processed water systems of Temple University. Performs other duties as assigned.

* This position requires the following background checks: motor vehicle drivers license check.
* This position will require a drug screening and a physical.

Required Education and Experience
* Education must be equivalent to the completion of High School, trade school or completion of an accredited apprenticeship required.
* Must have a minimum of 5 yrs. experience with steam and chill systems.
* An equivalent combination of education and experience may be considered.

Required Skills and Abilities
* Must have rigging experience to work safely in all situations.
* Must be proficient in all manners of cutting and welding all applicable materials.

Preferred Education
* Welding certification
