About the role

The Statutory CoE Manager is responsible for the execution and delivery of statutory accounts and audits for assigned entities, operating within Haleon’s Corporate & Statutory Centre of Excellence. The role supports the Senior Statutory CoE Manager by owning day-to-day statutory delivery, audit execution and stakeholder coordination, ensuring statutory reporting is accurate, timely and compliant.

Key responsibilities

· Own delivery of statutory accounts for assigned entities, including preparation, review, issue resolution and finalisation in line with CoE standards.

· Execute statutory audits, acting as the day-to-day finance contract for external auditors and service providers.

· Coordinate statutory deliverables, audit requests and evidence, ensuring quality, completeness and timeliness.

· Prepare and review statutory financial statements, supporting schedules and documentation.

· Support maintenance of statutory accounting positions and escalate technical or audit issues appropriately.

· Operate statutory governance and control processes, including SOX or equivalent controls.

· Liaise with GFS, local finance teams and corporate functions to ensure statutory data accuracy and readiness.

· Support process improvement, standardization and automation initiatives within the Statutory CoE.

· Proactively escalate delivery risks, delays or emerging issues to the Senior Statutory CoE Manager.

Qualifications and skills

· Degree (or equivalent) in Finance or Accounting.

· ACA / ACCA (or equivalent) qualified or actively studying.

· 6–10 years of relevant experience in statutory reporting, financial accounting, or external audit environments.

· At least 3–5 years of hands-on experience in managing statutory accounts preparation and audit delivery.

· Good understanding of statutory accounting requirements and audit processes.

· Strong attention to detail with a robust documentation and control mindset.

· Ability to manage multiple deadlines and deliver accurate outputs in a structured reporting cycle.

· Effective communication and stakeholder management skills.
