• Permanent full-time role with a regular Monday–Friday day shift. Occasional relief coverage requires availability for 12-hour continental shifts, including nights and weekends.

Your role in achieving results:

• Operate and maintain steam boiler systems, including water treatment (softeners, dealkalizers) and perform required water quality tests.

• Operate and maintain ammonia and Freon refrigeration systems, including evaporative condensers, to ensure critical parameters are met.

• Operate and maintain air compressors and air dryer systems to ensure air quality supply.

• Operate and maintain water distribution and wastewater treatment systems in compliance with municipal bylaws.

• Operate and control HVAC systems to maintain required temperature and humidity levels.

• Perform daily plant inspections and maintain operational, maintenance, and safety logs.

• Troubleshoot equipment issues and perform corrective actions or minor repairs as required.

• Ensure utilities and plant equipment operate safely and efficiently, including participation in energy‑saving initiatives and monitoring fire alarm and sprinkler systems.

What we are looking for to deliver these results:

• Possesses a valid TSSA certificate as a 3rd Class stationary engineer or Refrigeration ‘B’ Operator

• 3-5 years of Canadian experience in operation/maintenance of all the Utilities including Ammonia refrigeration and Steam plant.

• Knowledge of PLC systems with ability to troubleshoot problems

• Flexibility to work on any shift (8h-12h, day, afternoon, overnight, weekends)
