The Department of Central Management Services, Division of Vehicles is accepting applications to fill an Executive II position serving as a State-Wide Vehicle Acquisition Executive. The ideal candidate will be highly motivated with the ability to resolve complex issues independently. This position functions within a team of administrators on fleet acquisitioning programs, coordinating, and executing the procurement of vehicles. We invite all qualified candidates to apply.
Under general direction of management, functions within a team of administrators for the organization, planning, and execution of the statewide Vehicle Acquisition Programs.
Serves within a team of administrators for all state agency vehicle coordinators/vehicle buyers providing training on efficient fleet management principles, advising on policy and procedures, interpreting applicable state statutes and administrative rules to prepare their vehicle purchase requests.
In consensus with other team members, plans and executes all DOV responsibilities relative to the CMS Surplus Property iBid program to dispose of vehicles.
In consensus with other team members, coordinates Auto Liability for drivers in the CMS fleet and Vehicle Acquisition Program as applicable involved in auto accidents.
Creates and interprets Excel, Access, PowerPoint, Visio, and Calendar work products used in daily division operations.
