  • Band 6 salary, $50.89 per hour plus 12% superannuation
  • Seeking a skilled systems specialist with proven experience in AlayaCare

The Opportunity

The Statement & Billing Readiness Officer will play a key role in supporting Council’s transition to the Support at Home program by ensuring billing processes, client statements, and contribution records are accurate, clear, and aligned with new funding and system requirements. The role works across Finance and the broader Aged & Disability Services team, including care planning and system teams, to test invoicing outputs, validate contribution data, and support preparation for upcoming reforms.

This role provides backfill coverage during a busy period of AlayaCare implementation for Support at Home clients.

Responsibilities

  • Supporting and overseeing and maintaining AlayaCare system configuration for Support at Home (clients, services, funding, workflows and user access)
  • Providing system support, troubleshooting and risk management during implementation activities to the Aged Care & Disability team
  • Acting as the system contact with internal stakeholders and AlayaCare vendor support
  • Monitoring data integrity, validating workflows and overseeing testing of system changes
  • Responding to and resolving complex user queries related to system functionality and processes
  • Ensuring continuity of system stability during the 5‑week coverage period.

Key Selection Criteria

  • Demonstrated experience working with AlayaCare within aged care, health or community services environments.
  • Experience mapping system fields and data to support billing, invoicing and client statement outcomes.
  • Sound understanding of the Support at Home reform and its implications for system configuration, client statements and billing processes.
  • Strong attention to detail and problem‑solving skills, particularly in system testing, documentation and financial reconciliation.
  • Highly developed communication skills, with the ability to liaise effectively with technical specialists, vendors and operational teams.

Desirable

  • Experience using Carelink or similar client management systems within aged care or community services environments.
  • Experience validating and reconciling data against Services Australia or Centrelink records.
  • Proven ability to work autonomously, manage competing priorities and deliver outcomes within tight, short‑term timeframes.
  • Demonstrated capacity to contribute to process improvement related to service delivery, system configuration or workflow optimisation.
