School Summary:

Ohio Connections Academy (OCA) is a tuition-free, public online eSchool serving students in grades K-12 throughout Ohio. OCA is authorized by the Ohio Council of Community Schools and governed by an independent Board of Directors. The school is operated by Ohio Connections Academy, a nonprofit corporation, through a contract with Connections Academy of Ohio, LLC, to provide its educational program and other services. OCA is accredited by the North Central Association on Accreditation and School Improvement, an accrediting division of AdvancED.

Locations:

Testing will take place throughout the state of Ohio and proctors will be assigned to the test site closest to them.

Ohio Connections Academy is seeking State Testing Proctors to help administer various standardized tests. Proctors will be responsible for supervising testing and following established guidelines and test security procedures. Proctors will be needed for all regions of the state, but will be assigned to the test site closest to their location. The ideal candidate will be flexible during our testing windows and will be available to work on an as-needed basis

Responsibilities:

The State Testing Proctor will be responsible for the successful completion of the following tasks:

• Complete required training on test security and administration;
• Complete required training as assigned by Human Resources;
• Administer or proctor testing to a small group of students;
• Assist with proctoring tests to a large group of students;
• Ensure all testing security measures are followed accurately;
• Maintain provided supplies and materials;
• Set up tables, chairs, and computer lab;
• Provide and maintain a safe and orderly testing environment; and
• Other duties as assigned

Requirements:

• Ohio Teaching License is preferred
• Ability to work during typical business hours
• Must pass or have already passed an FBI/BCI background check
• Prior experience proctoring standardized testing preferred
• Ability to be on your feet for 8 hours per day
• Ability to read provided test directions to students
