Over recent years the firm has expanded from a single Sydney office to a multi‑state practice of ~120 staff across 30+ locations and continues to grow via strategic acquisitions.

The opportunity

Our client has recently acquired a well‑known NSW personal injury practice and is seeking an experienced leader to run and grow the acquired business. This is a hands‑on operational and people leadership role responsible for stabilising and optimising the business post‑acquisition, maintaining client outcomes and delivering sustainable growth.

Key responsibilities

  • Lead, engage and develop a team of ~20 legal and support staff; conduct performance reviews and implement training or role changes as required

  • Maintain continuity of client service and case outcomes during transition

  • Collaborate with senior leadership to align strategy, reporting and growth initiatives

Acquired business snapshot (for context)

Who we’re looking for

  • Proven experience leading a personal injury practice or comparable legal operation, ideally with exposure to post‑acquisition integration or change management

  • Strong operational mindset with experience auditing processes, redesigning workflows and improving efficiency

  • Demonstrated people leadership: coaching, performance management and team restructuring where required

  • Excellent communication skills and a client‑focused, pragmatic approach

  • Comfortable with hands‑on file review as well as strategic planning and reporting

What’s on offer

  • Senior leadership role within a growing national firm with strong support infrastructure

  • Opportunity to shape and scale a high‑performing practice with autonomy and visible impact
