For over 15 years, ASCOT GROUP has delivered specialised building services across healthcare, aged care and retirement living, education, government, and commercial environments. From complex live settings to large-scale upgrades and construction projects, ASCOT GROUP operates where precision, planning and partnership matter.
We were built on a simple but powerful idea: make a difference. Not just in the physical spaces we create, but in how we work alongside clients, consultants, contractors and communities. Across the nation, our people are creating exceptional spaces through expertise, care and genuine partnerships.
The Experience is the difference and it shows in everything we do.
The Role
This role defines how ASCOT GROUP operates in New South Wales. From how work is set up, to how it is delivered and scaled.
With early projects underway and a large growing pipeline forming, the focus is on establishing the operational environment required to support consistent, disciplined and commercially sound delivery.
Sitting at the intersection of strategy and delivery, the State Operations Manager holds accountability for:
The opportunity is to take NSW from an emerging footprint into a structured, high performing division.
What this role looks like
At its core, this role is about bringing clarity and structure to an operation as it takes shape.
Establishing the right foundations across NSW, from how projects are set up through to how teams operate day to day. This includes embedding ASCOT GROUP’s delivery model, aligning ways of working across estimating, procurement and delivery, and ensuring there is consistency in how projects are approached from the outset.
Alongside this, there is a strong focus on building capability. Supporting a growing team, creating the right structure around them and setting clear expectations for performance as the pipeline develops.
With that foundation in place, the focus shifts to delivery. Creating rhythm, accountability and discipline across projects, ensuring outcomes are achieved across time, cost, quality and client experience.
This is a role that evolves with the business, moving from establishing the environment to leading a scaled, high performing operation.
What success in this role requires
This role suits a leader comfortable operating in early stage environments, bringing clarity, structure and momentum.
Why is this your future role?
It is an opportunity to take ownership of a state operation at a formative stage.
To shape how ASCOT GROUP establishes and grows in New South Wales.
To influence the foundations, not just the output.
Supported by an experienced national team with established systems, standards and a clear approach to delivery, providing backing while allowing ownership.
If stepping into an environment where structure needs to be defined, capability built and performance established is the next move, we would like to hear from you.
