Reporting to the State Manager, Visy Logistics is seeking an experienced State Transport Manager for our NSW metro operations with a solid background in Fleet & People Management. Based at our site in Eastern Creek, you will enjoy a hands-on environment working closely with the internal and external drivers, customers, and the wider Visy Logistics team. As an experienced transport or logistics manager, you understand the importance of distribution activities being performed safely, whilst ensuring that people and equipment are employed efficiently.

What You Will Do:

Key responsibilities will include, but not be limited to:

• Lead and manage daily operations across fleet, drivers and logistics teams
• Ensure compliance with safety, environmental, CoR and regulatory standards
• Monitor and facilitate repairs and maintenance of vehicles and equipment
• Drive productivity, innovation and commercial improvement across every touchpoint
• Deliver exceptional customer service and industry-leading DIFOT results
• Manage budgets, forecasts and P&L performance with strong commercial discipline
• Build and nurture high-performing teams with a focus on safety, accountability and growth

What You Will Bring:

• Extensive experience in logistics, transport & warehouse leadership at a senior level.
• Solid financial acumen, experienced in budgeting, forecasting, P&L management and commercial decision‑making.
• Exceptional knowledge and understanding of HSE and COR requirements.
• SAP, WMS & TMS knowledge will be highly regarded (Ramco experience is preferred)
• The ability to balance growth ambitions with safety, compliance and service excellence.
• Demonstrated experience in leading, coaching, and mentoring high-performing teams.
