We’re launching our largest Supply Chain site in Redbank, Queensland - A major investment in scale, innovation, and the future of our distribution network. This is a rare opportunity to join and help bring a large scale operation to life from the ground up.

We're seeking an experienced State Inventory Lead to join our Supply Chain team in Redbank and take ownership of inventory integrity across our QLD distribution centre network.

In this critical leadership role, you'll be responsible for ensuring inventory accuracy, driving inventory control processes, supporting operational excellence, and leading a culture of safety, continuous improvement, and accountability. Working closely with site leadership teams, logistics partners, and operational stakeholders, you'll play a key role in ensuring stock availability and delivering outstanding supply chain performance.

More about the Role

As the State Inventory Lead, you will oversee inventory management and integrity across our supply chain operations, ensuring robust inventory control practices are in place and inventory records accurately reflect physical stock holdings.

You will lead inventory-related processes including stocktakes, cycle counts, slotting, reconciliations, reporting, process improvement initiatives, and compliance activities while developing and supporting a high-performing team.

What You'll Be Doing

Safety & Compliance: Lead a strong safety culture across the site, ensuring compliance with OH&S and Chain of Responsibility requirements while supporting safe, compliant, and efficient operations.

People Leadership: Develop, coach and support team members to build a high-performing workforce, manage resources effectively, and foster an engaging and accountable team environment.

Inventory Excellence: Take ownership of inventory accuracy and integrity by overseeing stocktakes, cycle counts, reconciliations and inventory controls, while identifying and resolving discrepancies.

Reporting & Insights: Monitor inventory performance, analyse trends and risks, and provide timely reporting and recommendations that support informed business decisions.

Continuous Improvement: Drive operational improvements by identifying opportunities to enhance safety, accuracy, productivity and efficiency, while partnering with stakeholders to implement best-practice solutions.

About you

You'll bring strong inventory management experience within a distribution centre, warehouse, logistics, or supply chain environment, along with a passion for operational excellence and people leadership.

You'll also have:

  • Experience leading inventory control and inventory accuracy programs.
  • Strong understanding of stocktakes, cycle counts, slotting, reconciliations, and inventory reporting.
  • Knowledge of Chain of Responsibility (CoR), safety, and compliance requirements.
  • Proven ability to analyse data and develop practical solutions to inventory challenges.
  • Demonstrated leadership experience with a focus on coaching and team development.
  • Strong stakeholder engagement and communication skills.
  • A continuous improvement mindset, with experience driving operational efficiencies.
