Job Posting: Starbucks Supervisor at the Rivers Casino

The Starbucks Supervisor at Rivers Casino is accountable for overseeing Barista activities during shifts, ensuring adherence to company policies, and delivering exceptional guest service.

Responsibilities:

• Supervise Baristas, ensuring adherence to established company policies and exceptional guest service.
• Maintain effective inter-shift communication and collaboration with back-of-the-house supervisors.
• Ensure appropriate staffing aligned with projected volume and budgetary guidelines.
• Communicate changes in policy and procedure to team members promptly.
• Monitor guest flow, communicating labor needs during peak and slow periods.
• Aid in the training of new team members.
• Uphold stringent cleanliness and sanitation standards.
• Ensure sufficient inventory in the work area.
• Foster fair and consistent treatment of all team members.
• Perform any other duties assigned by department leadership.

Qualifications:

• Preferably possess prior supervisory experience.
• Previous experience in a high-volume restaurant setting is preferred.
• Exceptional interpersonal communication skills in English for effective interaction with guests and team members.
• Demonstrated ability to make sound judgments under pressure.
• Cooperative, helpful, and friendly demeanor, with a well-groomed appearance.
• Must be able to attain and maintain certification in “Serv-Safe” (Food Sanitation Management).
• Ability to comprehend and communicate Material Safety Data Sheets to team members.
• Team player with flexibility to work varied shifts, including holidays.

Certifications:

• Obtain a Pennsylvania Gaming License. Rivers Casino will assist in the application process and pays the fee associated with the gaming license.

Physical Requirements:

• Prolonged periods of standing and walking.
• Frequent bending, twisting, and reaching.
• Must be able to lift up to 50 pounds at times.
