Position Overview

Chicago Marriott Northwest is seeking a friendly, energetic, and customer-focused Part-Time Morning Shift Barista to join our Food & Beverage team.

The ideal candidate will be responsible for preparing and serving high-quality coffee, espresso beverages, tea, and breakfast food items while delivering exceptional guest service during morning operations.

The Barista will assist hotel guests with their breakfast and beverage needs, maintain an organized and welcoming service area, and ensure that all food and beverage services meet the hotel's quality, cleanliness, and hospitality standards.

Candidates should be punctual, dependable, service-oriented, and comfortable working in a busy morning environment.

Key Responsibilities

1. Welcome hotel guests warmly and provide friendly, professional service during morning operations.
2. Prepare and serve coffee, espresso-based beverages, tea, and other specialty drinks according to established recipes.
3. Take guest orders, answer menu-related questions, and provide recommendations.
4. Prepare and serve breakfast items, pastries, sandwiches, and other light food offerings as required.
5. Ensure timely and efficient beverage and food service, particularly during peak breakfast hours.
6. Maintain consistency in beverage quality, presentation, portion sizes, and service standards.
7. Refill coffee stations, beverage supplies, breakfast displays, and service counters as needed.
8. Monitor inventory and notify management when supplies need replenishment.
