Join a leading global manufacturer as a Standup Forklift Operator where your skills in forklift operation will be valued and put to work in a dynamic warehouse environment.

This role focuses on operating standup forklifts to efficiently load and unload orders while supporting general warehouse shipping and receiving functions. You will be part of a team that handles climate control products for HVAC and refrigeration markets, ensuring accurate and safe material handling.

Responsibilities

• Operate standup forklift to load and unload orders safely and efficiently.
• Perform manual and clerical duties related to shipment and receipt of materials, supplies, equipment, and finished products under general supervision.
• Receive goods, verify items against shipment records, and inspect condition.
• Gather, verify, and pack items for shipment according to specifications and transportation methods.
• Record received and shipped items following established procedures.
• Route materials, supplies, and equipment to inspection or stock areas.
• Complete written and computerized documentation accurately.

Required Qualifications

• High school diploma or GED required.
• Standup forklift operation certification required.
• Warehouse experience including loading/unloading orders by forklift and use of RF Scanner.
• Successful completion of drug test and background check.
• Basic reading, writing, and numerical skills.
• Ability to operate powered equipment such as forklifts or hydraulic jack lifts.
• Able to lift up to 50 pounds.
• Effective verbal communication skills.
• Valid driver's license with good driving record may be required.

Preferred Qualifications

• Forklift certification preferred.

Work Environment

• Work hours are Monday through Friday, 7:30am to 4:30pm.
• Location: Chatsworth, CA 91311.
• Contract employment with benefits.
• Requires dependable attendance and punctuality.
• Must follow established safety and quality procedures.
