The Commonwealth requires the services of a Standard Operating Environment (SOE) Integration Engineer to supplement the contractor workforce within the Land Network Integration Centre (LNIC). This proposal seeks to engage an Engineering and Technical Services Advanced Practitioner to assist the LNIC with the design, development, build and support of LNIC led ICT capabilities used within both fixed and deployed systems.
The position is primarily a technical hands-on role, with responsibility to conduct capability development, as well as design, build, maintenance and configuration control tasks. This is inclusive of capability development and configuration control tasks of software integration and SOE deployment design (including scripting, build automation, application packaging).
This position requires a combination of disciplines including technical hands-on communications engineering, innovation, test and evaluation, and documentation.
As a technical subject matter expert within a small team the candidate will also be expected to contribute to the design of LNIC led deployable solutions, data centre and/or network integration solutions, as well as review project design documentation and provide advice on integration across Land Combat System (LCS) interfaces.
