The Stand-Up Forklift Operator is responsible for operating a stand-up forklift to move, locate, and relocate products within the warehouse or production area. This role involves ensuring the efficient and safe handling of materials, adhering to safety regulations, and maintaining a clean workspace.
Key Responsibilities:
- Operate a stand-up forklift to transport materials and products to designated locations.
- Load and unload goods from trucks, pallets, and shelves.
- Perform routine inspections and maintenance on forklifts to ensure proper functionality.
- Accurately complete shipping and receiving documentation.
- Maintain inventory accuracy through regular counts and adjustments.
- Follow safety protocols and procedures to ensure a safe working environment.
- Assist in organizing and maintaining the warehouse for optimal efficiency.
- Communicate effectively with team members and supervisors regarding inventory needs and safety concerns.
- Participate in training programs to enhance skills and safety awareness.

Qualifications
- Previous experience operating stand-up forklifts (Must pass a forklift driving assesment).
- Ability to read and interpret documents such as safety rules, operating and maintenance instructions, and procedure manuals.
- Strong attention to detail and problem-solving skills.
- Ability to work in a fast-paced environment and meet deadlines.
- Physical stamina to lift heavy objects and perform manual labor.
- Basic math skills for inventory management.
Working Conditions:
- Required to work in freezer where temperatures ranges between -10 to 32 degrees Fahrenheit
- Exposure to varying temperatures, noise levels, and potential hazards.
- Must wear appropriate safety gear as required.
