Job Description


The JPMorganChase Community Engagement team is hiring a Stakeholder Insights, Associate to help advance key policy, business, and community priorities. Stakeholders are civic and community partners shaping local and national dialogue on financial services issues (including consumer issues, small business, housing, workforce and economic development).


As a Stakeholder Insights, Associate in the Community Engagement team, you will work tounderstand the issues and policies impacting the firm and its communities, producing practical guidance and materials to be used by teams as they develop and drive stakeholder engagement strategies. You will gather and synthesize information on what stakeholders are saying on key topics; monitor and escalate emerging policy/issue trends and risks; produce executive-ready analyses and communications; and partner cross-functionally across Corporate Responsibility and Lines of Business to align activity with firm priorities. You will also provide support on special projects, including strategic planning, grant portfolio management and other topics as assigned. You will bring to the role an understanding of consumer policy, financial regulatory issues, and economic and community development to support the team as it builds and sustains relationships.

Job Responsibilities

  • Source, synthesize, and analyze stakeholder, business, and market intelligence (including recurring digests and ad-hoc updates) and stakeholder feedback; distill themes and disseminate to internal teams.

  • Track, monitor, and report on emerging policies, issues, and trends; escalate risks to appropriate internal partners that may impact reputation, products, services, or strategic approach.

  • Develop and deliver insights materials (e.g., issue briefs/primers, memos, decks, talking points, briefers) to support internal and external engagement.

  • Produce landscape analyses and positioning/perception assessments to inform strategy and recommended actions.

  • Monitor and communicate progress on priority issues and relevant product/service developments.

  • Build and maintain resources, tools, and best practices that enable consistent insights work (including tool/process standardization).

  • Support the Head of Community Engagement in the execution of strategic planning and grant portfolio management, including the development of PowerPoint slide decks and other collateral as needed.

  • Identify opportunities to improve team processes and work with Community Engagement Associates to complement efforts and enhance effectiveness.

Required qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Minimum of 5+ years of experience in grants administration, project management, stakeholder intelligence, or related fields.

  • Strong written and verbal communication skills, including the ability to prepare presentations and reports.

  • Excellent judgment, organizational skills, and independent decision-making ability.

  • Results-oriented, with exceptional attention to detail and strong analytical skills.

  • Creative, flexible, collaborative, and able to work both independently and in a team.

  • Positive self-starter with a proactive approach, excellent time management, and prioritization skills.

  • Mastery of Microsoft Office applications, particularly Excel and PowerPoint.

  • Ability to work collaboratively with a wide range of stakeholders, considering multiple points of view.

  • Integrity and strong work ethic with high attention to detail and deadlines.

  • Domestic travel may be required, approximately once quarterly or as needed.

Preferred qualifications, capabilities and skills

  • Experience in financial services or a similar fast-paced regulated environments.

  • Proficiency with Salesforce or other CRM systems.
