Key Responsibilities:
- Develop and implement a stakeholder engagement strategy to support the DSM strategy and objectives.
- Build and maintain relationships with key stakeholders, including government entities, regulatory bodies, industry associations, and consumer groups.
- Identify and engage with new stakeholders to expand the reach and impact of DSM programs.
- Act as a liaison between the organization and stakeholders, ensuring effective communication and understanding of key issues and concerns.
- Monitor and analyze stakeholder feedback and perceptions, and provide recommendations for improvement.
- Collaborate with cross-functional teams to ensure alignment and integration of stakeholder engagement efforts.
- Develop and manage stakeholder engagement plans for specific DSM programs, including timelines, milestones, and deliverables.
- Track and report on stakeholder engagement metrics and progress towards goals.
- Identify potential risks and issues related to stakeholder engagement and develop mitigation strategies.
- Stay up-to-date on industry trends, best practices, and regulations related to stakeholder engagement.
- Provide guidance and support to junior team members on stakeholder engagement strategies and tactics.
Qualifications:
- Bachelor's degree in communications, public relations, marketing, or a related field.
- Minimum of 5 years of experience in stakeholder engagement, public relations, or a related field.
- Experience in the energy sector or with demand side management programs is preferred.
- Excellent communication, presentation, and interpersonal skills.
- Strong project management and organizational skills.
- Ability to build and maintain relationships with diverse stakeholders.
- Knowledge of stakeholder engagement best practices and strategies.
- Proficiency in Microsoft Office and project management tools.
- Fluency in English, both written and spoken.
- Ability to work independently and collaboratively in a fast-paced environment.
- Willingness to travel as needed.
