  • EA 13 $140,108.04 + Super, full-time equivalent

About the role

Contribute to the enhancement of Sydney Water’s corporate reputation through the implementation of stakeholder initiatives and outcomes. You will achieve this through delivery of tasks prioritised in the Enterprise Stakeholder Strategy.

  • Lead the implementation of event sponsorships with Corporate Memberships and Conference partners to positively position Sydney Water within the broader industry.
  • Administer Sydney Water’s Corporate memberships to provide booking and logistical support for internal and external clients.
  • Manage complex and multiple requests from priority stakeholders simultaneously, and often within tight deadlines. Interpret complex operational and strategic matters to be conveyed to stakeholders with limited understanding of the business.
  • Assist with the management of Sydney Water’s stakeholder database to support delivery of the Corporation’s stakeholder strategy and other contact requirements.
  • Build and maintain effective relationships with internal and external stakeholders and coordinate a corporate quarterly stakeholder forum, stakeholder correspondence and other stakeholder events.
  • Manage stakeholder requests and enquiries with autonomy including internal and outgoing stakeholder correspondence.

About you

In this role, we are looking for someone who has exceptional attention to detail and interpersonal skills with the ability to effectively manage and maintain relationships with internal & external stakeholders to Sydney Water.

You will have:

  • 3-5 years’ experience in a Government Department or State-Owned Corporation.
  • Broad administrative experience within a high-pressured environment.
  • Project management skills with the ability to work to deadlines and be responsive to ad hoc requests.
  • Skilled in operating in a matrix environment with the flexibility to manage multiple requests.
  • Experience in the preparation of stakeholder enquiry responses.
  • Demonstrated ability to communicate and negotiate effectively at all levels, including with senior management.
