Job Description

Grinder / Polisher – Stainless Steel
Shift: Mon–Thurs, 6:00am–4:30pm
Pay: $22–$29/hr
Location: Likwifier - Kansas City, MO

About the Role
We’re looking for an experienced Grinder/Polisher who can consistently achieve a No. 4 sanitary finish on stainless steel for food grade tanks. If you take pride in precision, quality, and craftsmanship—this is your role.

What You’ll Do
• Grind, blend & polish stainless steel to a consistent No. 4 sanitary finish
• Prepare & finish welded seams to food grade standards
• Inspect surfaces and correct imperfections
• Safely operate grinders, sanders & polishing tools
• Follow fabrication instructions & maintain clean work areas
• Ensure all work meets sanitary, crevice free requirements
• Maintain tools and follow all safety procedures

What You Bring
• 2+ years stainless steel grinding/polishing experience (preferred)
• Ability to produce a true No. 4 finish consistently
• Experience blending welded seams to sanitary standards
• Strong attention to detail & ability to work independently
• Able to lift/move up to 50 lbs and work on your feet
• Understanding of PPE & shop safety
• Ability to use micrometers, calipers & gauges
• Dependability—our customers and team rely on you
