Pay: $20.25/hr + up to $3.00/hr efficiency bonus
2nd shift receives a $2 shift differential
Monday – Friday, occasional weekend work
1st Shift: 6:30 am – 3:00 pm or upon completion of assigned work
2nd Shift 3:30 pm – 12:00 am or upon completion of assigned work
SUMMARY: : Responsible for operating shag truck to perform movement of reefer trailers between loading, processing, and storage areas.
Conduct daily safety inspection of shag truck
Ensure inventory is 100% accurate throughout the production day
Compare physical counts and computer counts
Monitor trailers for proper temperatures and fuel levels
Perform movement of reefer trailers for combo load out
Perform routine maintenance on vehicles and equipment
Cleaning, lubricating, recharging batteries and fueling
Use Pallet Jack or Forklift to load or unload materials
Keep the area clean
Other duties as assigned
Demonstrate excellent attendance and punctuality
Ability to work in a fast-paced environment
Ability to obtain the pallet jacket & forklift certificate
Ability to work independently
Must have a valid driver's license
Ability to wear, use and maintain personal protective equipment
Ability to follow all safety policies and procedures
High School Diploma or equivalent preferred
6 months of production experience preferred
Ability to communicate effectively
Ability to read the labels with product name and number
Ability to fill out required safety checklists and write daily reports
