Vanderlande ontwerpt een nieuw kostenmodel voor de service desk, dat de basis vormt voor onze kosten-plusbenadering. Het huidige model is verouderd en we hebben geen wereldwijde aanpak om de kosten van service desk-diensten te verzamelen. We overwegen een bottom-up benadering om de kosten te berekenen op basis van het volume van benodigde diensten (incidenten, problemen en wijzigingen). Het doel is een kostenmodel te ontwikkelen dat toepasbaar is in verschillende domeinen en regio's, rekening houdend met servicelevels en beschikbaarheidskosten.
De Service Desk EU-APAC bestaat uit 1e, 2e en 3e lijn engineers die 24/7 werken om incidenten, problemen op te lossen en wijzigingen door te voeren voor meer dan 500 klanten wereldwijd. De afdeling bestaat uit 150 medewerkers die werkzaam zijn in Australië, Duitsland en Veghel.
