As part of the Museo Storico Casa del Cioccolato Perugina, you will support the team in delivering engaging visitor experiences, guiding guests through the history of the brand, its products and its chocolate-making tradition.

Throughout the internship, you will gain hands-on experience in visitor engagement, storytelling, event support and museum operations, while discovering how a historical corporate museum contributes to strengthening brand awareness and customer experience.

This internship is ideal for candidates interested in culture, tourism, communication, hospitality and visitor experience.

A Day in the Life

  • Welcome visitors and support daily museum activities.
  • Accompany individuals and groups during guided tours, sharing the history of Perugina, its iconic products and the evolution of the factory.
  • Help create engaging and memorable experiences for visitors from different backgrounds and nationalities.
  • Support educational activities, events, tastings and special initiatives organized by the museum.
  • Provide information about the museum and its services, ensuring a high standard of visitor satisfaction.
  • Collaborate with the team on scheduling and organizational activities related to visits and events.
  • Support administrative tasks, including reservation tracking, visitor data management and basic reporting activities.

  • Fluent Italian and good command of English.
  • Knowledge of an additional European language is a plus.
  • Good knowledge of Microsoft Office, particularly Excel.

What You Will Learn

During this internship you will gain hands-on experience in visitor experience management, public speaking and storytelling within a corporate museum environment.

You will develop communication and customer engagement skills by interacting with visitors from different backgrounds, while learning how to deliver guided tours and cultural experiences aligned with brand values.

You will also gain exposure to event organization, museum operations, administrative activities and visitor experience management within an international company.

Our Selection Process

Step 1:

Meeting with HR – Talent Acquisition → Motivational and Attitudinal Assessment

An introductory conversation focused on your motivations, your academic and extracurricular experiences, and your interest in hospitality, tourism, communication and visitor engagement.

Step 2:

Meeting with the Museum Manager / Tutor → Role Exploration & Presentation Exercise

An interview focused on visitor experience, storytelling and communication skills. You may be asked to present a topic, share a short story or simulate part of a guided tour experience.

This step assesses your communication style, public speaking skills, customer orientation and ability to engage different audiences.

Step 3:

Feedback

You will receive feedback at the end of the process, regardless of the outcome.
