THE JOB

The Stage Manageris responsible for coordinatingand executingallon-stageandloading dockoperationsfrom pre-show preparations to day-of-show executionfor concertsand eventsThis role serves as the central point of communication between the Venue Production Manager,touring,client,and/or rental vendorteamensuring that technicaland logisticalexecution aligns.The Stage manageroverseesallstageactivityandensuressmoothload-in/outs, efficient communication,andon-timeperformances.

WHAT THIS ROLE WILL DO

  • Responsible for communicating the details of the event tothe venueproduction crew and all relevant in-house departments.

  • Manages members of theVenue productionteamand stagehands.

  • Ensuresthat thetour(s)and client(s)have required itemsfrom venueneeded toexecuteshow(s) and event(s).

  • Supervises theload-in and load out of band and rental equipment 

  • Responsible for documentingaccident, incident, anddisciplinary issuesfor theproduction crew and reports actions back to Production Manager 

  • Production Manager may have Stage Manager execute settlementsper contract with artists post show 

  • Ensure all in-house policies are enforced regarding staging, safety and show protocol 

WHAT THIS PERSON WILL BRING

Required: 

  • 3 years minimum Tour and Stage Production experience 

  • Experience in stage lighting, pro audio systems and basic video systems 

  • Ability to handle multiple projects simultaneously 

  • Experience managing a team of 5+ individuals

  • Ability to make clear concise decisions, sometimes with limited information 

  • Computer literate in Windows applications 

  • Must possess superior interpersonal communication and organizational skills 

Preferred:

  • College Degree 

Physical Demands/Working Environment:

  • Must be able tolift upto 75lbs 

  • Work in an environment with moderate to loud noise level
