Job Description

AMDA College of the Performing Arts is one of the foremost performing arts colleges in the country with campuses in Los Angeles and New York City. The school offers Bachelor of Fine Arts degree programs and Associates degree programs in Acting, Musical Theatre, Dance Theatre and Performing Arts as well as two year certificate programs. The Stage Manager at the Los Angeles campus will assist with managing theatre events as assigned (stage managers receive offers on a ‘per show’ basis).  Primary Responsibilities
  • Attendance is required at all rehearsals, technical rehearsals, and performances
  • Liaison between student performers and artistic/production staff
  • Create and distribute rehearsal and performance reports
  • Record blocking and taking notes at production meetings
  • Most rehearsals are anticipated to be conducted on weeknights (some weekend days may also be needed) during the upcoming spring semester.
Qualifications
  • Bachelor's degree (minimum) or comparable educational or professional experience
  • Minimum 2 year of professional experience in stage management
Position Information
  • Schedule for this role is based on department needs
  • The pay range for this position is $28/hour - $35/hour
  • This position is subject to a background check upon a conditional offer of employment and a reference check.
  • This is a fully in-person Position.
