NXP develops high-performance mixed-signal technologies for automotive applications, helping make vehicles cleaner, safer, and more connected. Within the central CTO organization, engineering teams design analog, mixed-signal, wireless, and power management solutions to address the needs of the automotive market.
The EMC/ESD (Electromagnetic Compatibility / Electrostatic Discharge) team designs, integrates, and characterizes solutions to ensure the robustness of integrated circuits against electrostatic and electromagnetic stresses. EMC and ESD tests are performed on site, in state-of-the-art laboratories, on integrated circuits and embedded systems.
In this context, the ESD/EMC team is looking for a 6-month intern to apply a simulation flow to electronic boards (PCBs) in order to optimize their EMC performance. The simulations may also be validated through measurements if required.
The intern will be responsible for one or more of the following activities:
Education level: Bac +5, student in a Master’s program or last year of engineering school in electronics, microelectronics, or physical measurements
