At Alstom, we understand transport networks and what moves people. From high-speed trains, metros, monorails, and trams, to turnkey systems, services, infrastructure, signalling and digital mobility, we offer our diverse customers the broadest portfolio in the industry. Every day, more than 80 000 colleagues lead the way to greener and smarter mobility worldwide, connecting cities as we reduce carbon and replace cars.
(English translation)
The assembly of train vehicles is done by connecting several cars through a coupling system.
This system is not just a mechanical link; it also enables pneumatic and electrical connections between the cars.
As part of the Train Design Office, you will join the Digital pillar responsible for the business aspects related to Alstom's digital design tools: CATIA, 3DEXPERIENCE, ENOVIA, etc.
We are looking for your contribution to speed up the design of couplers. You will develop a CATIA methodology and a tool to assist our designers in exploring technical solutions and automating certain tasks.
The developed methodology and tool will take into account the kinematics and clearances of the parts to define the best routes for the pneumatic hoses.
Your tasks will include:
You are an engineering student specializing in mechanics with an interest in digital fields (CAD, PLM, FEA).
You have:
You want to improve your mastery of advanced CATIA features.
You are curious and resourceful.
You don’t need to be a train enthusiast to thrive with us. We guarantee that when you step onto one of our trains with your friends or family, you’ll be proud. If you’re up for the challenge, we’d love to hear from you!
