Performs clerical/scheduling activities that facilitate Agency operations. These activities include developing monthly caregiver schedules, addressing urgent issues with caregiver schedules, managing the “lifecycle” of client status (referrals, opens, recertification’s and discharges), maintaining credentialing of clinical employees, on-call response and regular reporting.

Qualifications

  • Bachelor’s degree preferred.
  • Staffing experience preferred, staffing for a facility, temporary agency or in-home health a plus. Candidates with call center experience in a “high-touch” customer service environment is a reasonable alternative.
  • Skill in the art of negotiation.
  • Remarkable candidates will have the ability to keep an eye on the big picture while also being very strong at handling the smallest of details
  • Knowledge of medical terminology or a general medical background a plus
  • Demonstrates strong verbal, written and interpersonal communication skills.
  • Strong computer skills.
  • Demonstrates exceptional time management and organizational skills, and ability to function with minimal direction.
  • Position will require overtime hours at times due to unforeseen events that happen in the staffing department
  • Core work hours are from 8:30 am – 4:30 pm with a weekly rotating schedule of coverage starting at 7:30 am and ending at 5:00 pm.

Essential Functions/Areas of Accountability

  • Build and manage all changes to the monthly caregiver schedules for an assigned territory Address urgent issues with caregiver schedules (backfill call-offs, accommodate client preferences, etc.).
  • In conjunction with a hands-on recruiting team, monitor and plan for upcoming needs within an assigned territory.
  • Assist Human Resources with maintaining credentials of clinical employees.
  • Provide exceptional customer service to clients as well as build a strong partnership with hundreds of caregivers (PCAs, CNAs, LPNs and RNs).
  • Maintain consistent communication with clinical field team within a territory including Regional Directors and Case Managers.
  • Generate and distribute prefabricated and ad hoc reports on a daily, weekly and monthly basis about a territory’s trends, challenges and successes

Individual base pay depends on various factors, in addition to primary work location, complexity and responsibility of role, job duties/requirements, and relevant experience, skills and other market-based factors.
