Under the guidance of the Staffing Officer, maintains scheduling and relief in collaboration with the Managers. Provides relief as required for the Staffing Officer.

Experience

  • Experience in a similar or directly related position, preferably in a Nursing related area.
  • Demonstrated knowledge of computer keyboard skills.
  • General knowledge of office procedures.
  • Experience in computerized scheduling preferred (ESP).
  • Previous experience in customer related service.

Education (Degree/Diploma/Certificate)

  • Successful completion of secondary education (Grade 12).
  • Good command of the English language.
  • Cardiopulmonary Resuscitation (CPR) training requirements for this position shall be in accordance with the Employer policy.

This position requires a current satisfactory Criminal Records Check (including Vulnerable Sector Search), Child Abuse Registry Check and Adult Abuse Registry Check as conditions of employment. The successful candidate will be responsible for any service charges incurred. A security check is considered current if it was obtained no more than six (6) months prior to the start of employment.

The WRHA legal entity includes Churchill Health Centre, Deer Lodge Centre, Golden Door Geriatric Centre, Golden West Centennial Lodge, Grace Hospital, Middlechurch Home of Winnipeg, Pan Am Clinic, River Park Gardens, Victoria General Hospital, WRHA corporate programs, and WRHA community health services.
