Position Overview

The Staffing Assistant supports the daily recruiting, onboarding, employee relations, and administrative functions of a busy staffing operation. This opportunity is ideal for a highly organized, bilingual professional who enjoys working with people, providing exceptional service, and thriving in a fast-paced environment.

Your Role & Responsibilities

• Conduct candidate interviews and support recruiting efforts for branch hiring needs.
• Assist with onboarding, orientations, new-hire paperwork, and training coordination.
• Complete I-9 employment verification and coordinate pre-employment screening processes.
• Maintain accurate employee records and documentation.
• Provide exceptional service and professional support to applicants, employees, clients, and internal partners.
• Support client communication and help ensure a positive customer experience.
• Process payroll updates and administrative tasks as needed.
• Assist with workers compensation, unemployment documentation, purchase orders, invoices, and branch administration.

Qualifications & Competencies

• Bilingual (English/Spanish) required.
• Staffing industry experience strongly preferred.
• 2+ years of administrative, customer service, recruiting, staffing, or office experience preferred.
• Ability to build positive relationships and provide professional service to candidates, employees, clients, and internal teams.
• Strong computer skills with proficiency in Microsoft Office and the ability to learn new systems quickly.
• Excellent communication, organizational, and time-management skills.
• Ability to multitask and perform effectively in a fast-paced environment.
• Professional, customer-focused mindset with strong attention to detail.

The anticipated hourly rate for this position is $25.00. This range does not include any other compensation components or other benefits that an individual may be eligible for.  The actual base salary offered depends on a variety of factors, which may include as applicable, the qualifications of the individual applicant for the position, years of relevant experience, specific and unique skills, level of education attained, certifications or other professional licenses held, and the location in which the applicant lives and/or from which they will be performing the job.
