Staff Test Engineer Test Hardware
Samut Prakan,
Thailand (initial 3-6 months in
Nonthaburi) | 60K - 95K THB/month
Were seeking a Staff Test Engineer to design, optimize, and
deliver cost-effective test hardware for automotive microcontroller testing.
This role is ideal for someone with strong ATE hardware expertise who can
ensure high efficiency, performance, and reliability while working in a collaborative,
cross-functional environment.
What youll do
- Lead the full test hardware
development flow, from design specification to buy-off, debugging, and
follow-up support
- Design both production test
hardware (Probe cards, Load boards, Burn-in boards) and characterization
test hardware
- Ensure On-Time-Delivery (OTD)
and First-Time-Right (FTR) performance
- Optimize hardware designs for
cost-effectiveness while maintaining high quality
- Develop new methodologies to
improve hardware design efficiency
- Collaborate with suppliers to
optimize cost and reduce lead times
- Partner with test engineers
to refine specifications and improve outcomes
What were looking for
- 3+ years of relevant
experience in product or test engineering (ATE test hardware experience a
plus)
- Strong knowledge of ATE
tester platforms (V93K, UltraFLEX, ETS, J750, etc.)
- Familiarity with the ATE test
hardware development workflow (Probe card, Load board design)
- Skills in Signal Integrity
(SI), Power Integrity (PI), high-speed digital design, and high-voltage
test hardware design
- Proficiency with PCB design
tools (e.g., Cadence Allegro)
- Good understanding of IC
development cycles and IC production processes
- Hands-on ATE test programming
skills (e.g., V93K)
- Experience with UNIX systems,
MS Office, and programming languages (Python, C++)
- Strong analytical,
problem-solving, and communication skills
- Experience with automotive
SoC microcontrollers and 1st Silicon bring-up/debug
- Bachelors or Masters degree
in Electrical/Electronic Engineering
