Job Description

As a Staff Technical Product Manager within Gas Power Contractual Services Digital Technology team, you will serve as a critical orchestrator between business strategy and technology delivery. Operating in close partnership with the Contractual Services (CS) product management team and CS Value Stream Leader, you will drive strategic direction and operational accountability for high-impact programs including:

• CSA Bonus/Liquidated Damage (BLD)
• Escalation Factor
• Non-Capital Parts Tracking – SIGE (Tritonix)

You will also serve as the primary liaison for CSA Data & Analytics (D&A) initiatives, collaborating with the Services D&A leader to define and execute a clear roadmap — including adoption of Databricks and Power BI — that transforms data into actionable business insights.

This role demands a leader who thrives in ambiguity, communicates with clarity at all levels, and relentlessly prioritizes outcomes that matter to our customers and the business.

Key Responsibilities

Strategic Program Leadership

  • Define and own the strategic roadmap for CSA BLD, Escalation, SIGE (Tritonix), and related Contractual Services applications
  • Own the wing-to-wing deliverables for CSA analytics products supporting our Contractual Services Business Line and Services Cost & Productivity organizations
  • Align technology investments with Gas Power Services Hoshin initiatives and business priorities
  • Partner with the CS Value Stream Leader to execute on the Integrated CS Platform roadmap
  • Coordinate the work of multiple parallel teams to deliver higher-level, cross-functional outcomes

Product & Delivery Ownership

  • Own short-term MVPs and quarterly release plans, ensuring transparent and predictable delivery
  • Work with MSP and AMS partners to define clear, descriptive requirements and manage delivery execution
  • Balance competing priorities across new features, defect resolution, and technical debt reduction
  • Apply SDLC principles and methodologies including Lean/Agile, CI/CD, Software and Product Security, Scalability, and Testing Techniques

Data & Analytics Leadership

  • Act as the business and technology liaison for all CSA Data & Analytics needs
  • Drive adoption of Databricks and Power BI across Contractual Services stakeholders
  • Set a clear D&A roadmap based on validated stakeholder inputs and business value

Stakeholder Engagement & Influence

  • Serve as the integration point for a broad, cross-functional stakeholder community — business, technology, and leadership
  • Influence key stakeholders in design, planning, and prioritization decisions without direct authority
  • Convert customer vision and business needs into well-defined functional specifications and user stories
  • Engage subject matter experts to ensure successful transfer of complex domain knowledge

Continuous Improvement & Quality

  • Champion world-class quality standards in product development and support
  • Continuously validates customer problems and needs to drive prioritization decisions
  • Demonstrate expert-level problem decomposition and the ability to navigate through ambiguity

Required Qualifications

  • For roles outside of the USA- This role requires advanced experience in the Digital Technology & Technical Product Management. Knowledge level is comparable to a Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college ( or a high school diploma with relevant experience).
  • For roles in USA - Bachelor's degree from an accredited university or college (or a high school diploma / GED with at least 6 years of experience in Job Family Group(s)/Function(s)).

Desired Characteristics

Technical & Functional Expertise:

  • Strong understanding of Gas Power Services Contractual Services Value Stream and Margin Review processes
  • Proven experience applying Agile program management methodologies (Scrum, SAFe, Kanban)
  • Strong understanding of current and emerging technologies, with genuine curiosity about industry trends
  • Familiarity with data & analytics platforms (Databricks, Tableau, Power BI preferred)
  • Solid grasp of SDLC, software product security, scalability, and documentation best practices
  • PMP, ScrumMaster, SAFe, or related Project Management certification (preferred)

  • Demonstrated ability to lead without authority — organizing teams, aligning stakeholders, and driving shared goals
  • Proven track record as a change agent who challenges the status quo constructively
