ABOUT THE TEAM

Strategic Defense protects the United States and its allies from ballistic, hypersonic, and air-breathing threats. Those threats now arrive in seconds, maneuver mid-flight, and come in volleys designed to overwhelm the legacy systems meant to stop them — so we're building a software-defined command and control layer that can see, decide, and act faster than any human operator could alone. Our team spans autonomy, tracking, simulation and wargaming, hardware, systems engineering, and test and evaluation to build an accredited fire control system fielded rapidly and at scale.

ABOUT THE JOB

Our team is actively seeking a dynamic and highly motivated Staff Test & Evaluation (T&E) Technical Program Manager (TPM) to quickly integrate into the team. In this role, you will support the Anduril Strategic Defense business line with your technical expertise and foster strategic collaboration across various teams. This includes working closely with program leadership, supporting companies, and government partners. As a valued member of our team, you will play an integral role in testing innovative solutions designed to address real-world challenges. A significant part of your role will involve serving as the government point of contact, coordinating with other capability stakeholders on test objectives, and shaping test scenario requirements to drive Anduril's engineering priorities. This position underscores the importance of an iterative approach to our operations - design, test, field, and refine - thereby driving continuous improvement of our systems and services. As part of a growing T&E team, this role may be asked to support both ground and flight test activities until the full team is in place.

WHAT YOU'LL DO

• As a T&E TPM, under minimal supervision, you will determine and develop various approaches to achieve T&E goals and help guide and perform the completion of test
• activities, with a particular emphasis on hardware-in-the-loop lab-based ground tests.
• Coordinate and support execution of testing at private and government owned test ranges to test and evaluate hardware and software systems.
• Deconflict test events internally across Anduril programs and efforts.
• Be responsible for safe operation of all testing efforts, working in accordance with established operating procedures and practices.
• Work closely with Engineering to discuss test results, to include collected data and observations.
• Collect and perform initial test data analysis for the system under test.
• Support the design and implementation of live-virtual-constructive (LVC) test scenarios to stress the system under test without requiring live assets.
• Document test procedures and results, providing detailed reports for engineering teams and stakeholders.
• Conduct testing of classified capabilities in an unclassified setting, working with customer and Anduril security teams to ensure all protocols and security measures are adhered to.
• Integrate T&E processes into the program, ensure adherence throughout the life of the program.

REQUIRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Bachelor’s degree in engineering, business, or a related technical field from an accredited institution.
• Current Top Secret Security Clearance.
• 10+ years of experience in technical program or project management, engineering management, engineering, or comparable skill, preferably supporting testing teams.
• Strong technical background with familiarity in systems engineering and/or software development.
• Must be able to execute the full test engineering process for a System-of-Systems (requirements, test planning, readiness reviews, safety reviews, test execution, test reporting, etc.) with little to no oversight utilizing company test and evaluation policy.
• Experience producing customer facing test deliverables (test plans, test reports, data analysis, etc.) and demonstrated maturity to articulate deliverable to a variety of stakeholders.
• Experience as a test conductor, test director, or similar role while executing testing.
• Experience executing ground test campaigns in hardware and/or software integration lab environments, including stimulus generation and truth system integration.
• Must possess the ability to understand new concepts quickly and solve problems across a variety of engineering areas.
• Must be able to work independently and as part of a multi-disciplinary team to deliver results in a highly ambiguous, fast-paced environment with little to no oversight.

PREFERRED QUALIFICATIONS

• Experience with the Department of Defense and/or Intelligence Community, particularly with the Missile Defense Agency.
• Experience in C++, Python, or other programming languages for data analysis.
• Familiarity with live-virtual-constructive (LVC) frameworks and simulation environments.
• Experience designing or operating hardware integration lab test benches, including bench fidelity assessment.
• Ability and willingness to travel to test sites for extended periods to serve as on-site test execution lead, approximately twice per year.

US Salary Range

$165,000—$218,000 USD

The salary range for this role is an estimate based on a wide range of compensation factors, inclusive of base salary only. Actual salary offer may vary based on (but not limited to) work experience, education and/or training, critical skills, and/or business considerations.
