An exciting opportunity exists for an experienced Staff Specialist in Cardiothoracic Surgery to join the Department of Cardiothoracic Surgery on a fixed-term, part-time basis.
As the sole provider of public cardiothoracic surgical services in Tasmania, the Royal Hobart Hospital offers a unique breadth of clinical practice and a level of professional responsibility that is rarely matched elsewhere in Australia. Fixed term part time, day worker position, working up to 57 hours per fortnight, commencing from as soon as you would like to join us for 12 months.

Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 1- Senior Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 3 $222,789 - $319,701 per annum, pro rata + 12% superannuation + access to salary packaging
Please note that access to the Senior Specialist Medical Practitioner salary range $309,222 - $319,701 is subject to the successful applicant satisfying the criteria for Senior Specialist Medical Practitioner Level 1, 2 or 3 as outlined in the Medical Practitioners (Tasmanian State Service) Award
