The ams OSRAM Opto Semiconductors business offers high-performance opto semiconductor components and in-depth support for state-of-the-art system solutions based on innovative semiconductor light sources. The Business Unit can look back on almost fifty years of production and development expertise.

Your new responsibilities

• Perform regular evaluations to identify capacity shortage. Generate reasonable capacity extension scenarios in cooperation with industrial engineering as basis for business decision. Challenge input figures from Product Line and investment proposals in regards of timeline, risks and budget. Trigger and follow up on capacity extensions.
• Support long term demand and capacity planning under consideration of strategic goals of ams OSRAM.
• Determination of global demand plans for finished goods under consideration of schedules, production & material capacities, order situation, inventories and business objectives.
• Preparation and execution of internal alignment meetings with Marketing, Product Management, Sales, Industrial Engineering and other SCM departments.
• Preparation and execution of alignment meetings on Management Level for Sales and Operation Planning for a dedicated Business line
• Analysis and Improvement of Planning Quality by interpretation of results from quantitative methods.
• Collaboration in Projects to improve planning processes of the worldwide supply chain. Securing requirements of the department when it comes to software implementations.

What we look for

• Bachelor's Degree in a relevant field, advanced degree or professional certification is advantageous.
• At least 3+ years in semiconductor field or related supply chain knowledge.
• International exposure due to close collaboration with Team in Germany and Business Line located in Germany.
• Excellent communication and interpersonal skills to facilitate collaboration with diverse teams.
• Strong analytical skills with ability to interpret complex data and derive actionable insights.
• Proficiency in planning tools, ERP system and advanced excel skills.
• Detail oriented with a commitment to maintain high planning accuracy.
• Ability to adapt to a dynamics work environment and navigate complexities within the Supply Chain.
• Proficiency in supply chain planning tools and ERP system & Advance knowledge of Microsoft office for data analysis and reporting.
• Excellent command of spoken and written English.
