The St Vincent’s Hospital Addiction Medicine Specialist position provides clinical leadership, supports specialty training, and promotes patient safety and quality across the Service, Drug Health, the Stream, and the Hospital. The position proactively seeks to drive cross-service and cross-speciality expert care and training within and without the hospital.
The position provides specialist clinical care as part of a multidisciplinary team which may be in inpatient, outpatient and hospital liaison services. The position also provides state-wide clinical care and leadership into the ADS Telehealth Service, the Service’s telephony lines (Drug and Alcohol Specialist Advisory Service), and drives the Service’s Collaborative Care approaches through leadership of outpatient services and liaison with internal and external providers

The Royal Children's Hospital (RCH) has been providing outstanding care for Victoria's children and their families for over 147 years.
We are the major specialist paediatric hospital in Victoria and our care extends to children from Tasmania, southern New South Wales and other states around Australia and overseas.
With a passionate, highly skilled and committed staff campus wide of over 5,000, we provide a full range of clinical services, tertiary care and health promotion and prevention programs for children and young people.
We are the designated state-wide major trauma centre for paediatrics in Victoria and a Nationally Funded Centre for cardiac and liver transplantation.
