Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  • Own and drive Supermicro’s Desktop, AI PC, and Workstation product portfolio through the full product lifecycle — from concept and PRD to launch, scale, and end-of-life planning. Support Supermicro BOM configuration with general mechanical/thermal check.
  • Handle chassis and sub-system mechanical simulation and design improvement.
  • Develop and execute solutions plans for Desktop, Workstation, and Commercial PC systems — spanning GPU enablement, performance optimization, thermal design, firmware, and OS/software validation.
  • Execute design changes, cost reductions, manufacturing methods improvements.
  • Cross-Functional work with sales, Lab, PM team to drive Chassis business & quality.
  • Arrange the server chassis solution training session for internal sales/staff terms.
  • Work with Asia supplier to manage the lead-time of material daily.
  • Update server chassis roadmap.
  • Assist PM to define and release planning, product design, and support of development activities, regulatory compliance, and management of product life cycle.

Qualifications:

  • Bachelor or Master's degree in Electrical Engineering, or Mechanical Engineering background preferred.
  • Minimum of 12 +years Server, Desktop PCs, AI PCs, Workstations, Gaming Systems, or related high-performance compute platforms. Mechanical background experience is highly desired.
  • Strong ownership mindset with demonstrated experience driving aggressive Time-to-Market (TTM), managing complex schedules, and leading cross-functional execution.
  • Experienced in business IT systems, datacenter builds, server and/ or workstation technology.
  • Experience forecasting, pricing strategy, margin management, and revenue accountability for high-volume products.
  • Experienced in Creo, AutoCAD program tools.
  • Strong communication, problem-solving skill to interface with cross-functional teams.
