Job Description

KEY RESPONSIBILITIES

  • Capable of developing and communicating cross-team architectural solutions
  • Provide recommendations for continuous improvement on company wide applications
  • Provide oversight over multiple domains
  • Improves operations by conducting systems analysis, recommending changes in policies and procedures
  • Learn and understand state-of-the-art development tools and processes
  • Communicate architectural standards and mentor other developers in their use
  • Provide leadership to engineering guilds
  • Accomplish engineering missions by delivering results as needed
  • Investigate problem areas, defining and facilitating solutions

KNOWLEDGE & SKILLS

  • Solid technical skills in more than two programming languages
  • Solid understanding of common architecture patterns
  • Working knowledge of all company infrastructure
  • Domain ownership
  • Understands and defines cross-team interdependent roadmaps
  • Can effectively estimate engineering work within 6-to 12-month timelines with varying degrees of accuracy

EDUCATION & EXPERIENCE

  • 12 to 15 years of relevant experience
  • A Bachelor's Degree preferred
