Meet Our Team

The Consumer 360 (C360) team consists of Data Engineers, Software Engineers, Data Scientists, and Machine Learning Engineers. We ingest, analyze, and structure large-scale customer and prospect data—including lifestyle attributes, preferences, content consumption behavior, and demographics—to power targeted advertising, increase engagement, drive subscriptions, and reduce churn.

Our team builds data-rich products and platforms that enable privacy-safe collaboration, advanced analytics, and revenue-generating insights across Warner Bros. Discovery's advertising ecosystem.

We are seeking a highly motivated and hands-onStaff Software Engineerto provide technical leadership while actively contributing to the design and development of scalable cloud-based data products and services.

In this role, you will work closely with Architects, Data Scientists, ML Engineers, Product Managers, Software Engineers, and Senior Leadership to build mission-critical data solutions using modern cloud technologies, Agile methodologies, and engineering best practices.

A primary focus of this position is building and scalingData Clean Room integrations and privacy-preserving collaboration capabilitiesthat support Advertising Sales and other high-visibility revenue stakeholders.

Roles & Responsibilities

  • Lead the technical design and implementation of major platform enhancements and new product capabilities.

  • Produce clear, scalable, and actionable technical designs while guiding execution across multiple teams.

  • Design complex architectures and system components that solve business problems using pragmatic, maintainable, and scalable engineering solutions.

  • Establish and promote engineering standards, best practices, and architectural principles across teams.

  • Serve as a technical mentor and multiplier by elevating engineering quality and fostering technical excellence.

  • Design, develop, and maintain cloud-based data services that power Data Clean Room workflows, including onboarding, policy enforcement, audience overlap analysis, measurement, and activation.

  • Engineer and own complex data transformation, cleansing, imputation, and preparation processes to ensure high-quality downstream analytics, machine learning, and reporting.

  • Build privacy-safe collaboration capabilities such as audience overlap analysis, attribution modeling, conversion measurement, and lookalike audience modeling through scalable APIs and reusable platform services.

  • Partner closely with business stakeholders to understand challenges and translate requirements into scalable technical solutions.

  • Collaborate with Data Science, Analytics, and Engineering teams to deliver data-driven and ML-powered products.

  • Provide guidance on data architecture, governance, and platform design decisions.

  • Build highly reliable, secure, observable, and scalable production systems.

  • Contribute to operational readiness, monitoring, incident management, and support processes.

  • Participate in on-call rotations and incident response activities where applicable.

  • Drive continuous improvements in platform performance, reliability, scalability, and maintainability.

What to Bring

Clean Rooms, Privacy & Identity

  • 9-13Years ofExperiencein Data Engineering/Software Engineering or related field.

  • 2+ years of experience building and operating Data Clean Rooms in production environments.

  • Deep understanding of Privacy Enhancing Technologies (PETs), including Differential Privacy, K-Anonymity, L-Diversity, and Secure Multi-Party Computation (MPC).

  • Expertise in identity resolution and matching across hashed and encrypted identifiers such as SHA-256, RampID, UID2.0, ID5, and LiveRamp.

  • Strong knowledge of cross-party data collaboration use cases, including audience overlap analysis, audience activation, attribution, lookalike modeling, and conversion measurement.

  • Strong understanding of privacy and compliance regulations including GDPR, CCPA/CPRA, HIPAA, COPPA, and data residency requirements.

Snowflake & AWS Clean Rooms

  • Hands-on experience with Snowflake Secure Data Sharing, including Provider/Consumer models and Reader Accounts.

  • Experience with Snowflake Native Apps Framework, Secure Views, Secure UDFs, and Row Access Policies.

  • Expertise implementing aggregation policies, projection policies, data masking, and differential privacy controls.

  • Experience with SQL templating frameworks such as Jinja.

  • Exposure to Snowflake Marketplace, Listings, Snowflake Clean Rooms, multiparty clean room environments, developer APIs, and metrics/reporting frameworks.

  • Experience configuring AWS Clean Rooms collaborations, configured tables, and analysis rules.

Data Engineering & Platform Development

  • Strong programmingexpertisein PythonJava

  • Good experience utilizing AI-powered software development tools such as Claude, Cursor, GitHub Copilot, OpenAI (ChatGPT), Gemini, and similar platforms for code generation, debugging, testing, documentation, and accelerating engineering productivity.

  • Hands-on experience with Apache Spark, Databricks, and Apache Airflow.

  • Experience designing and building scalable cloud-native data platforms and data pipelines.

  • Strong understanding of distributed systems and large-scale data processing architectures.

Nice to Have

  • Experience designing and operating solutions across multiple cloud platforms beyond a single provider.

  • Strong understanding of cloud architecture and distributed systems design.

  • Experience building APIs and deploying Machine Learning models into production environments.

  • Hands-on experience with Infrastructure as Code (Terraform and/or AWS CloudFormation).

  • Experience with Kubernetes, Amazon EKS, and container orchestration technologies.

  • Experience implementing CI/CD automation and DevOps best practices.

  • Strong operational engineering experience in monitoring, observability, reliability engineering, and incident management.

  • Excellent communication, collaboration, and stakeholder management skills.

  • Proven ability to lead technical initiatives, mentor engineers, and influence architectural decisions across teams.
