Job Summary

Works with product teams, analysts and other engineers to design systems and application software, and mentor junior members of the team.

Responsibilities

Requirements Analysis

• Understands, reads, and reviews requirements
• Works with Business Analysts to understand business requirements

Software Architecture

• Participates in architectural review process

Software Design

• Leads Features and multiple modules design
• Provides technical leadership to the team
• Evaluates and recommends adoption of open source

Development/Coding

• Develops scripts and code for a feature and multiple modules
• Cross-technical integration
• Participates in peer reviews
• Adoption of standard coding processes

Testing

• Develops unit tests
• Fixes defects
• Develops test strategies
• Recommends testing frameworks

DevOps

• Defines deployment and release guidelines
• Defines and executes environment planning and cross-functional dependencies
• Documents software configuration management practices and educates cross-functional stakeholders on the processes and tools

Software Reliability & Support Engineering

• Captures, Consolidates, and maintains inventory of production applications, flows and systems for all the software engineering verticals
• Helps in preparing application support documentation
• Troubleshoots basic application issues with the help of knowledgebase documents

Technical Project Management

• Provides level of effort (LOE)
• Works with technical project managers and product management teams to define schedule
• Provides status reports and release management progress updates

R&D/Innovation

• Investigates, analyzes, and evaluates new technologies

Qualifications

• 5+ years experience
• Bachelor's in Computer Science or Computer Engineering

Mise à l’essai

• Développer des essais pour les unités
• Corriger les problèmes
• Élaborer des stratégies de mise à l’essai
• Recommander des cadres de mise à l’essai

Développement et activités

• Définir les lignes directrices sur le déploiement et le lancement
• Définir et mettre en œuvre la planification de l’environnement et les dépendances multifonctionnelles
• Documenter les pratiques de gestion de la configuration des logiciels et informer des intervenants de différents postes sur les processus et outils à adopter

• Documenter, consolider et garder à jour un inventaire des applications, des flux et des systèmes de production pour tous les ingénieurs en logiciel à charge
• Contribuer à la préparation des documents de soutien des applications

Gestion de projet technique

• Fournir un niveau d’effort

Qualités requises

• Au moins 5 ans d’expérience

United States - Dallas Infomart Office DAI : 121,000 - 181,000 USD / Annual

United States - Tampa Office TAO : 121,000 - 181,000 USD / Annual

United States - New York City Office NYO1 : 134,000 - 200,000 USD / Annual

Canada - Toronto Office TRO : 102,000 - 152,000 CAD / Annual

Our pay ranges reflect the minimum and maximum target for new hire pay for the full-time position determined by role, level, and location.The pay range shown is based on our compensation structure in place at the time of posting and may be updated periodically based on business needs. Individual pay is based on additional factors including job-related skills, experience, and relevant education and/or training.

The targeted pay range listed reflects the base pay only and does not include bonus, equity, or benefits. Employees are eligible for bonus, and equity may be offered depending on the position.
