In this role, you will be responsible for leading AI engineering initiatives, defining technical strategies, and enabling teams to build reliable and scalable intelligent systems. You will contribute to product evolution by combining hands-on technical execution with architectural leadership and cross-functional influence.

• Contribute to the AI product vision and roadmap by providing technical guidance and identifying opportunities for innovation.
• Architect and lead the development of AI systems in production, from proof of concept through scalable deployment.
• Evaluate technical approaches, including build vs. buy vs. fine-tune decisions for AI models and solutions.
• Integrate large language models (LLMs), foundation models, and generative AI capabilities into products.
• Define engineering standards, best practices, and AI development processes across teams.
• Collaborate with product managers, designers, and software engineers to embed AI capabilities into user-facing solutions.
• Mentor engineers by sharing knowledge, improving technical skills, and promoting AI engineering excellence.
• Research and evaluate emerging technologies, including LLMs, multimodal models, and advanced AI approaches.
• Lead initiatives related to AI governance, model evaluation, quality monitoring, bias reduction, and responsible AI practices.
• Participate in technical hiring processes and contribute to building high-performing engineering teams.

Requirements:

The ideal candidate is a highly experienced AI-focused software engineer with strong architecture skills, proven experience delivering machine learning solutions in production, and the ability to influence technical decisions across teams.

• Extensive experience building and deploying AI/ML solutions in production environments.
• Strong expertise in generative AI, including fine-tuning, Retrieval-Augmented Generation (RAG), LLM evaluation, and advanced prompt engineering.
• Experience integrating foundation models and designing AI pipelines.
• Advanced Python programming skills focused on production systems, not only experimentation.
• Strong knowledge of machine learning fundamentals, including deep learning, statistics, optimization, and model evaluation.
• Experience with deep learning frameworks such as PyTorch and/or TensorFlow.
• Experience building recommendation systems, ranking models, or similar intelligent solutions is a plus.
• Knowledge of cloud environments such as AWS or GCP for AI/ML workloads.
• Experience with ML production pipelines and tools such as MLflow, Kubeflow, or Airflow.
• Experience with model serving, Docker, Kubernetes, and production monitoring/observability.
• Strong ability to define architecture, evaluate trade-offs, and make high-impact technical decisions.
• Excellent communication skills, with the ability to influence technical and non-technical stakeholders.
• Experience mentoring engineers and supporting technical growth within teams.

• Experience applying AI to matching, recommendation, or personalization systems.
• Background in HRTech, SaaS B2B products, or similar technology environments.
• Contributions to open-source AI projects.
