The Role
IRIS is one of Overjet's core products and central to the value Overjet delivers to dental providers. It integrates with several services across our ecosystem to deliver a seamless imaging experience at the dental chair.
As a Staff Engineer on IRIS, you will shape how the product evolves: making architectural decisions that serve the team long-term, building on a production-grade codebase, and working alongside a highly capable team.
Please note that while this role is remote, we are looking for candidates based in Lahore who can work 7 am to 3 pm EST hours.
Responsibilities
Own architecture evolution of IRIS. Drive technical decisions that enable our future
Integrate IRIS with dental imaging hardware and third-party device ecosystems
Reduce engineering toil through tooling and structural improvements
Ensure reliability and correctness across a system used daily in clinical settings
Qualifications
A minimum of 5+ Years of experience with deep expertise in Windows systems development — process management, inter-process communication, concurrency, and hardware/device integration
Strong in C# and .NET; comfortable with async programming and cancellation patterns at scale
Care about reliability and correctness in production software
You operate beyond today's delivery: you make architectural decisions that serve future engineers, and build tooling and structure that compounds across the team
Familiarity with AI tools and their judicious use in systems development — including agentic approaches to debugging and diagnostics.
