In recent years, electronic circuits with higher data rate and lower voltage supply have enabled higher performances. However, this trend also causes significant DDR4/5 and PCIE Gen4/5 noise problems. As a global leader for networking solution innovation, Super Micro Computer's mission is to develop and provide the market with end-to end computing solution and high performance networking products. The candidate will play a key role in the development process of in-house server motherboards, by working collaboratively with cross-functional engineering team as well as outside partners to ensure the robust design of the boards. As a Sr. Signal Integrity Verification Engineer, you are expected to be self-motivated and possess a strong will to do great things, with result-driven mindset to develop the most competitive and endurance board products.

Essential Duties and Responsibilities:

  1. Design high-speed serdes Ethernet channels for Network Switch.
  2. Execute SI validation for the system requirements.
  3. Execute electrical analysis and record the data as formal report.
  4. Execute SI simulation and make the report for review.
  5. Working with electronics engineers for SI issues and LAB debug.
  6. Be responsible for directing the design techniques on their assigned projects.

Qualifications:

  1. More than 9 years of relevant experience in signal integrity is preferred.
  2. Master's degree in related field is preferred.
  3. TDR, VNA and Switch measurement and validation is plus.
  4. Familiar with SI design tools such as ADS, ANSYS SIWave/HFSS, Cadence Sigrity.
  5. Knowledge and experience for PCB layout tool.
  6. Self-motivated individual and possess a strong will to do great things.
