The Flynn Lab investigates fundamental questions at the intersection of RNA biology and glycobiology. We are hiring for a Staff Scientist position which is intended to be a long-term project-focused position with some effort on operating laboratory features. Specifically, we are looking for someone with experience in the RNA, molecular, and cell biology fields who will be expected to manage long term scientific projects in the lab that could span topics including how glycoRNAs are made, what their functional roles are, and more generally topics concerning cell surface biology and biochemistry. This will occur through direct communication and mentoring with the PI. Outside of the scientific efforts, this individual will work with the PI to maintain lab organization and operations which is expected to take ~20% of the individuals time (per week).
