Pay Rate: $33.50-$49.60 hourly

The registered nurse assesses, plans, implements, evaluates, and supervises individual patient care using the nursing process. Accepts responsibility for direction of co-workers and delegation of role appropriate tasks in the implementation of care.
- Provides quality nursing care based on a family centered approach.
- Provides education for the patient and family/significant other from admission through discharge process.
- Provides thorough, concise, accurate and legible documentation of the nursing process.
- Works closely with physicians and other team members addressing patient/family concerns to ensure a smooth transition of care.
- Administers medications and performs treatments in an accurate safe manner.
- Ensures clinic processes and workflows comply with FMC policies and procedures.
- Ensures equipment and supplies are readily available for patient care, reporting malfunctions to proper department.

QualificationsJob

Qualifications:
- Completion of an accredited nursing program, resulting in one of the following:
- - Diploma in Nursing
- - Associate's Degree in Nursing
- - Bachelor's Degree in Nursing
- Valid license to practice in the State of Ohio.
- Electronic Fetal Monitoring Certification through an Accredited Certification Program, specifically the National Certification Corporation (NCC) required or obtained within 12 months of hire.
- CPR required.
- Previous nursing experience preferred.
Must be able to physically exerting 50 to 100 pounds of force occasionally and/or 25 to 50 pounds of force frequently, and/or 10 to 20 pounds of force constantly to move objects. Physical demand requirements are in excess of those for Medium Work. Position may require frequent patient handling activity.
