
Under the direction of the Director of IntraOperative Services and the supervision of the OR Supervisor, the RN is directly responsible for performing circulating and /or scrub nurse duties in the Operating Room. The RN will provide direct patient care in accordance to AORN standards and SJH policies and procedures. Other responsibilities include but are not limited to maintaining a safe surgical environment, fiscal management of supplies and materials, continues education development for themselves and new employees, preceptorships for nursing students and active involvement in performance improvement activities. The RN may also provide back-up assistance to the Charge Validator position and maintain/edit preference cards duties with training.
Qualifications:
Education: ASN required, BSN preferred
Experience: 1-3 years of experience
Licensure: Active State of Maine RN License or Compact License
Certification(s): BLS required within 30 days of hire ACLS preferred PALS preferred CNOR is strongly encouraged

$33.43 - $46.04
