Staff Restaurant Cook (Season 2026)

At Marina, a Luxury Collection Resort, Mykonos, every team member contributes to creating an exceptional hospitality experience. As a Staff Restaurant Cook, you will play an important role in supporting the daily wellbeing of our Associates by preparing fresh, high-quality meals in a professional, efficient, and well-organized kitchen environment. With attention to detail, consistency, and care, you will help maintain the high standards and positive team culture that define our resort.

Key Responsibilities

• Prepare ingredients, execute daily food preparation, and maintain mise en place for the staff restaurant kitchen
• Cook and serve meals according to established recipes, quality standards, and portion guidelines, ensuring consistency and presentation excellence
• Organize, stock, and manage your kitchen section efficiently, maintaining a clean, safe, and hygienic workstation throughout the shift
• Ensure proper food handling, storage, labeling, and stock rotation procedures in line with hygiene and food safety standards
• Monitor inventory levels, assist with deliveries, control portions, and minimize waste while maintaining food quality
• Support meal preparation for different employee shifts and operational requirements in a timely and efficient manner
• Enforce strict hygiene, health, and sanitation procedures, ensuring compliance with HACCP and company standards
• Accommodate dietary requirements and special meal requests with professionalism and attention to detail
• Collaborate closely with kitchen colleagues to ensure smooth daily operations and maintain the resort’s high culinary standards

Requirements

• Minimum of 2-3 years’ experience in a similar role within a hotel, staff restaurant or high-volume kitchen environment
• Culinary Arts qualification or vocational cooking certification will be considered an advantage
• Good command of the English language
• Good understanding of food preparation techniques, kitchen operations, and food safety procedures
• Strong teamwork skills, reliability, flexibility, and a professional attitude
• Awareness of food hygiene and sanitation standards (HACCP knowledge preferred)
