The Department of Medicine, Division of Endocrinology is seeking to hire a motivated Staff Research Associate to join a research team investigating the molecular mechanisms that drive metabolic dysfunction and insulin resistance. This role offers hands‑on experience with both in vivo and molecular biology techniques central to metabolic research.
You will maintain a genetically engineered mouse colony, perform tissue dissections, and support rodent exercise training protocols. Laboratory responsibilities include DNA, RNA, and protein isolation, qRT‑PCR, and immunoblotting, contributing directly to ongoing experimental studies. You will also assist with general lab organization, equipment upkeep, and maintaining a clean, efficient research environment.
Hourly range: $28.69-$34.21
