  • Contribute to AI/ML-driven capabilities for geometry validation, error detection, and workflow automation
  • Build high-performance C++ software and Python-based automation tools
  • Partner with simulation engineers, product managers, QA, and developers to solve user workflow challenges
  • Own defined features from development through testing and deliver

The Impact You Will Have

  • Improve the quality, reliability, and usability of core geometry and meshing capabilities
  • Reduce debugging time by creating clearer, more effective user workflows
  • Support thoughtful use of AI/ML in CAD and simulation environments
  • Deliver maintainable, high-quality software that strengthens the product experience

What You'll Need

  • BSEE, BSCS, or related field with 5+ years of experience, or a Master’s with 3+ years, or a PhD with relevant experience
  • Strong C++ skills in performance-sensitive software development
  • Solid understanding of 3D geometry modeling, algorithms, and data structures
  • Experience with Python for scripting and automation
  • Working knowledge of meshing concepts and geometry issues that affect simulation success
  • Exposure to AI/ML in geometry, CAD, or related workflows is a plus
  • Experience in commercial software development is a plus

Who You Are

  • You solve complex technical problems with practical engineering judgment
  • You write clear, maintainable code built for long-term use
  • You communicate well across disciplines and work effectively with cross-functional and geographically distributed teams
  • You take ownership of your work and deliver with consistency

The Team You'll Be Part Of
You will join the team responsible for the 3D editor in Ansys Electronics Desktop, a flagship product for electromagnetic simulation at Synopsys. The team builds geometry, visualization, and meshing workflows that help engineers run accurate, reliable simulations.
