We are searching for the best talent for STAFF PROJECT MANAGEMENT ENGINEER
Purpose: The Staff Project Management Engineer is an engineer proficient on project management, capable of providing tracking, supervision, execution, coordination and management to projects related to engineering along supply chain. Must be able as needed to direct and lead different projects related to engineering. At this level, the position has a great degree of impact on the business results and typically, responsibility for managing a group of professionals.
You will be responsible for
In accordance with all applicable federal, state and local laws/regulations and Corporate Johnson & Johnson, procedures and guidelines, this position:
Lead engineering projects ensuring that projects.
Develop and execute detailed project plans using standard project management tools (charter, Gantt chart, etc).
Prepare/review capital & expense forecasts for assigned projects. Prepare capital authorization requests
Report status on assigned projects in various formats to various organizational levels.
Manage the NCR and CAPA process by documenting, investigating, root cause analysis, and implementing corrective actions for product non-conformances.
Ensure effective use of engineering and quality systems and adherence to quality system regulations
Ensure all OSHA and J &J Machine Guarding requirements are met.
Follow the BWI design control process for all applicable projects.
Perform process validations on new, transferred or modified processes.
Ensure compliance to the quality policy in all activities.
Support and promote the safety and industrial hygiene objective of the plant
Utilizes Process Excellence methodology and tools to identify and implement improvement projects geared to reduce cost, eliminate scrap, improve quality and minimize cycle time
Establishes specific manufacturing capability technology to support transfers and new product introduction
Provides specific technical expertise to support special projects, pilot operations, product and process improvements; and also provides input to develop capital expense forecast and equipment/spare parts budgets to support business needs
Provides support to product inquiry investigations
Sustain supply chain continuity by qualifying and validating supplier tooling as per component approval procedures.

Develop project plans that identify resource and budgetary needs
Host project meetings at least once a week with team and managers
Provide feedback, advice, project updates and encouragement to team members
Manage deadlines and push the team to ensure timeliness
Leadership qualities, such as motivation techniques and conflict-management
Computer literacy for spreadsheet and word processing software
Time management skills, especially familiarity with calendar management and goal setting
Familiarity with the work being done by each team member
Responsible for communicating business related issues or opportunities to next management level
Responsible for following all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices as applicable.
For those who supervise or manage a staff, responsible for ensuring that subordinates follow all Company guidelines related to Health, Safety and Environmental practices and that all resources needed to do so are available and in good condition, if applicable
Responsible for ensuring personal and Company compliance with all Federal, State, local and Company regulations, policies, and procedures

Qualifications / Requirements
A minimum of bachelor’s degree in an Engineering or Science discipline. (Mechanical or Electrical preferred)
Approximate experience, or equivalent knowledge and skills, necessary to satisfactorily perform the position responsibilities.
8 to 10 years with BS in Related Field
Ability to Solve Equipment Problems related to Engineering elements
Interpretation skills of performance metrics such as OEE, Downtime, Yield and Others.
Knowledge of Microsoft Windows and Microsoft Office preferably.
Ability to handle multiple tasks.
Excellent communication skills.
Excellent Project Management skills
Deep knowledge of manufacturing activities, roles and their supply chain end-to-end impact.
Bilingual: Spanish / English preferably.
Personal computer skills.
Use of measurement equipment (multimeter, oscilloscope, etc.)
Experience or Related Training Working with Good Manufacturing Practices (GMP).
Ability to Work Various Shifts or Overtime When Necessary.
Must be able to work under pressure and obtain good results individually and as a team.
Manufacturing Experience in the Medical Industry (Preferably).
Six Sigma or Lean certification as Green Belt or Black Belt is preferred.
