Clio is the global leader in legal AI technology, empowering legal professionals and law firms of every size to work smarter, faster, and more securely.
We are transforming the legal experience for all by bettering the lives of legal professionals while increasing access to justice.
We are currently seeking a Staff Product Marketing Manager to join our Product Marketing team in Burnaby, Toronto or Calgary. We are also open to remote candidates across Canada or the U.S.
This role is a 12-17 month fixed term contract.
The Product Marketing team at Clio is the connective tissue between product, revenue, and the market. We translate complex product capabilities into clear value for legal professionals — and we do it across the full customer journey, from awareness through adoption and expansion.
Rated a top place to work in product marketing by the Product Marketing Alliance, you’ll be part of a team that values excellence and initiative, loves testing, and cares about results. As Staff Product Marketing Manager, your work will define how law firms understand and adopt Clio’s accounting, time tracking, and activities offerings, and how confidently our sales and success teams can sell and support them.
You will be surrounded by a talented group of high-performing product marketers, seasoned in SaaS and driven by collective success. Together, you will set the bar for best-in-class marketing practices and use them to maintain our position as the leader in legal practice management.
You're a highly experienced, multi-skilled product marketer with a track record of owning complex, revenue-critical portfolios end to end and with little oversight. You know how to translate complex, trust-sensitive domains into language your buyer actually uses — whether that's a bookkeeper who needs accuracy and compliance, or a lawyer tracking billable time who needs speed and clarity. You don't default to generic SaaS language for either. You're comfortable being the subject matter expert other PMMs and cross-functional partners come to, and you don't need to be told what the priority is — you see it, build the case for it, and drive it.
You know how to drive growth strategy for a product that competes for GTM investment against more foundational, deeply technical features — and you don't let the complexity of one pull focus from where the growth actually is. You think in terms of the whole business, not just your launch calendar: you can hold your portfolios as a coherent strategy rather than disconnected work-streams, and you know how to sequence and prioritize across them when they compete for the same GTM resources. You mentor less experienced PMMs, and senior stakeholders treat you as a source of market truth, not just an execution arm
This role is a backfill for an existing position.
